Ordinary grade Red Cherry Shrimp are a popular freshwater species, valued for their adaptability and hardiness. These shrimp display a light red to pinkish colouration, providing subtle charm to planted aquariums. Their peaceful nature and algae-eating habits make them an excellent addition to a clean-up crew, while their ease of care makes them perfect for beginners.

Breeding is simple in a shrimp-only or community tank with stable conditions, as females readily carry and release tiny, fully formed shrimp.
